keep getting verbal feedback of people who read the novel, even after so much time of publication and this can only please me.

But I'm even happier when I get these comments in writing, so that they can share with readers here. The latest comes from

(...) I can not tell you how many emotions aroused reading ... I confess that it was the first time I approach a book "noir", I always read other novels, not even that much talked of Faletti I've never been attracted (perhaps because they are too challenging for the number of pages!).
First of all, as I pointed out to your editor, the paper size is perfect and beautiful: so smooth to the touch of a beautiful ivory color, with beautiful crisp printed characters, it's really nice turn the pages one after ' other.
The story is very compelling: The more you enter the story, the more you know the characters and the more you would like to investigate, ask questions. They are so well described in their character that I could well imagine as I read. And then the fog: sometimes I could almost feel it, cold and wet to the bone (as in those of the old father) accompany the sound of Cycling in the silence of the night ... I was scared, I felt shivers down my spine, I even shed a few tears, but I could not stop reading, the certainty that good would ultimately triumph, in one way or another.
I also thought about who knows how many bad stories are closer to us than we think and how many children are spectators of violence in the home. The reality becomes more sad and frightening than fiction, but I think there are many fathers willing to listen. I really liked this concept of "fatherhood"!
Now, Mauro, please, do not stop writing!
